K-DRAMA of the Week – Sold Out on You

Sold Out on You K-drama

This week's K-Drama is Sold Out on You (Korean title: 오늘도 매진했습니다, also translated as Sold Out Again Today). Airing on SBS and streaming globally on Netflix, the series mixes enemies-to-lovers romance, healing drama, countryside aesthetics, and workplace comedy.

The drama follows Matthew Lee, a perfectionist rural farmer and cosmetics researcher, and Dam Ye-jin, an exhausted home-shopping superstar suffering from chronic insomnia. Their lives collide through a skincare business deal involving rare natural ingredients grown in a countryside village, which only Matthew Lee's farm produces and cares for. What begins as constant bickering slowly turns into romance and emotional healing, as the two help each other to overcome the different problems in their lives.

The show blends countryside, rural aesthetics with the big city life of Seoul, balancing both and providing emotional storylines as well as funny and cute moments throughout.

The drama started pre-production in 2025, with the main cast confirmed in May 2025. Principal photography followed shortly after, and SBS confirmed the drama would be released in April 2026.

The main cast includes Ahn Hyo-Seop as Matthew Lee, and Chae Won-bin as Dam Ye-jin. Both are huge stars, with Chae Won-bin featuring in dramas such as My Lovely Boxer and Doubt, the latter showcasing her talents in the thriller genre. However, she adapts a more light-hearted persona in this drama, adapting well to comedy. Ahn Hyo-seop has had standout roles in dramas such as Business Proposal, and most recently saw huge success in K-POP Demon Hunters, voicing the role of Jinu. Hype around his role in this has also brought international attention to the drama.
